What is the difference between a Podiatrist & Chiropodist.
There is no real difference between a Podiatrist and a Chiropodist, both titles are protected and need the same qualification. You must be degree (Approved by the HCPC) qualified to use either title and complete yearly personal development to remain qualified, insured and able to practice. A Podiatrist is the more modern and internationally recognised name, but using the title Chiropodist is still common in the UK. Therefore both Podiatry & Chiropody treatment offers the same level of care and professionalism.
The Foot Clinic Leeds - Podiatry / Chiropody Services
The Clinic is located in a premium area of Chapel Allerton, North Leeds, and is managed and owned by Sarah-May Poppleton who has over 20 years Podiatry experience. Sarah is a Member of the The Royal College of Podiatry & all the team are HCPC registered. We have 2 treatment rooms with dedicated parking and a team of podiatrists / Chiropodists providing a range of treatments 6 days per week.
