Routine Podiatry
Our routine podiatry appointments last up to 30 minutes and include a consultation and treatment for a wide range of foot conditions, where appropriate.
Treatments may include:
- Routine toenail trimming and care
- Reduction of thickened or fungal nails
- Conservative management of ingrown toenails, including discussion of nail surgery options where appropriate
- Callus (hard skin) removal
- Corn removal
- Application and massage of a recommended foot cream suited to your skin type
- Letters to your GP or hospital, and private prescriptions, where clinically appropriate and subject to the time available during your appointment
This appointment is also suitable if you require a consultation only. We understand that you may wish to discuss your symptoms, explore your treatment options, or obtain advice before deciding how to proceed. If necessary, we can also refer you to another healthcare professional.
New Patients
At your first appointment, we will take a comprehensive medical history, including details of any medications you are taking and any relevant health conditions or concerns. We will also carry out an initial foot assessment, including vascular screening, to assess the overall health of your feet.
Verruca Patients
If you have, or suspect you have, a verruca and would like treatment during your first appointment, please book a Verruca Assessment rather than a routine appointment. This ensures you are booked with a podiatrist who can offer the full range of verruca treatment options available.
Returning Patients
For returning patients, your medical details will be reviewed and updated as required. Clinical assessments will be repeated when clinically appropriate.
Fees (Effective from 1 June 2026)
- £55 – New Patient Appointment
- £48 – Returning Patient Appointment
If you have attended the clinic previously but it has been more than two years since your last appointment, you will need to book a New Patient Appointment so that we can update your records and obtain a new consent for treatment.
