The Foot Clinic Leeds – Podiatry & Chiropody Services

The Foot Clinic Leeds has two modern clinics conveniently located in Roundhay and Adel, serving patients from across Leeds and the surrounding areas.

The clinics are owned and managed by Sarah-May Poppleton, who has around 30 years' experience in podiatry. Sarah is supported by an experienced team of Podiatrists & Chiropodists with a combined clinical experience of approximately 150 years, enabling us to provide a comprehensive range of routine and specialist podiatry treatments.

Our team combines extensive knowledge with ongoing professional development, allowing us to offer the latest evidence-based treatments alongside trusted, established foot care. Every member of our clinical team is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a proud member of the Royal College of Podiatry, giving you confidence that you are receiving safe, professional care.

Both clinics offer modern treatment rooms, dedicated patient parking, and appointments available six days a week, making it easy to access expert podiatry and chiropody care at a time that suits you.

Sarah is also supported by her husband, Dave, who manages the day-to-day running of the practice as Practice Manager, and their daughter, Nell, who provides occasional telephone support.

Your feet are just as important as your teeth and eyes. Over a lifetime, the average person walks around 75,000 miles—the equivalent of travelling around the world three times. Looking after your feet is an investment in your overall health, mobility, and quality of life.

At The Foot Clinic Leeds, we are committed to providing friendly, professional, and personalised care. Whether you need routine foot care or specialist treatment, our experienced team is here to help you stay comfortable, active, and pain-free.

What Is the Difference Between a Podiatrist & Chiropodist?

There is no difference in the level of care provided by a Podiatrist or a Chiropodist. Both are protected professional titles regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and practitioners must meet the HCPC's registration requirements to use either title and practise legally.

The title Podiatrist is the modern, internationally recognised term, while Chiropodist remains widely used in the UK, particularly by older generations. Both titles describe the same qualified healthcare professional who specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of foot and lower limb conditions.

At The Foot Clinic Leeds, all of our Podiatrists & Chiropodists hold a degree or higher qualification in podiatry, maintain their professional registration with the HCPC, undertake regular continuing professional development (CPD), and are members of the

Royal College of Podiatry.  Whichever title you are familiar with, you can be confident that you will receive the same high standard of professional, evidence-based foot care.
