Verruca Treatment / Verruca Removal

Verrutop is a new type of wart treatment. Unlike Cryotherapy or other chemical treatments, Verrutop does not act by freezing or burning the tissue. Instead it denatures the viral protein and desiccates the wart tissue, which then falls off the skin, leaving intact skin underneath.  Verrutop is suitable for ages 6 and above.

Q. How much does Verrutop verruca treatment cost?

A. We recommend purchasing 3 treatments for the total cost of £185 as typically at least 3 treatments would be required.  This cost includes the initial "New Patient Appointment cost".  Further treatments cost a discounted price of £56 per appointment. 

Q. How long does Verrutop verruca treatment take?

A. The first treatment can be provided during your first appointment and then you must wait 7-14 days between treatments.

Q. Can you treat more than one Verruca at the same time

A. Yes, we can treat several until all the solution within the ampule has been used, we would not recommend trying to treat too many as its better to apply more solution per Verruca than to try spread it thinly.

Q. Is Verrutop verruca treatment guaranteed to remove my Verruca?

A. No, there is no treatment that offers a 100% guarantee.

Q. Is Verrutop verruca treatment suitable for everyone?

A. No, during your initial appointment the podiatrist will establish if Verrutop is suitable.
